WILLS.

Wills before 1858 were proved in Ecclesiastical Courts. The principal ones for Suffolk were the Archdeaconry of Sudbury and the Archdeaconry  of Suffolk.

The Superior Court was the PCC. Prerogative Court of Canterbury (See England General).
