The National Archives

Documents Online
from The National Archives, England

The AIGS is pleased to announce the introduction of a new subscription service, similar to Ancestry and Findmypast.  The National Archives at Kew in the UK have long been an unavailable resource for most overseas researchers.  The coming of Documents Online has progressively made their most popular records available online.  Members of the AIGS (and visitors paying a day visitor fee) can now print off, at a cost of 20c per page, documents available on Documents Online.  Normally the majority of these documents cost ₤3.00.  A few of the fascinating records included are:

Airwomen's Records WW1
Aliens Registration Cards
Campaign Medals WW1
Combat Reports, WW2
Death Duty Registers: country court registers between 1796 and 1811
Doomsday Book
Early Irish Maps from State Papers c.1558 - c1610
