This database of Institute members' interests has been developed over many years and updates have been published in each quarterly edition of the Institute's magazine, "The Genealogist" .

It is now published for the first time on this Website. In addition, two Special Interest Groups have their own Member's Interests. To access those databases, click on "Groups" in the menubar on the Homepage and trace down the drop down menu to "Northern Counties England" or "Ireland & Scotland" for additional entries.

If members of the Institute wish to enter new names or to update existing entries, please fill out the Registration Form and lodge it in the Office, addressed to the Editor of "The Genealogist" . Updates will be published in the next edition of the magazine and then added to this Website.
Members may also download a Registration Form to initiate new entries or update their existing entries by clicking on the Registration Form link in the header above.

In keeping with established procedure of the AIGS, the Privacy Act prevents names and addresses of contributors to the database being provided directly.

However if you wish to contact any of the contributors, you are invited to send a stamped, self-addressed business envelope to the Institute Office C/- AIGS PO Box 339 Blackburn 3130 .

Please provide an outline of your enquiry or information you wish to contribute and cite the membership number stated in the last column of the particular database entry.
